May, 1998	Meeting with the President of the Accountants Association in Poland E.Sablik and with the Secretary General of European Federation of Accountants and Auditors of small and medium-sized enterprises P.Paulsen has taken place.
July, 1998	The members of the UFPAA took part in a symposium "Development of Professional Associations in CIS countries", which was held in France.
September, 1998	The UFPAA began development of methodological materials under the project "The implementation of IFRS for accountants, who work in joint-stock companies and in other organizations-competitors of the stock market".
September, 1998	The Head of the UFPAA A.Savchenko visited The Body of Expert and Licensed Accountants of Rumania. The agreement for cooperation in dealing with accounting and audit standards drafting was concluded then. A.Savchenko took part in the regional conference "Accounting on the Balkan and in and around the Black Sea – the past, the present and the future".
October 30, 1998	The 3rd UFPAA Council meeting was held. A.Savchenko was elected for the second term. November, 1998 The UFPAA's delegation visited The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. The object of the visit was to explore the Institute's functioning.

1999	During the year 12,000 teaching aids "NARS-based financial statements" were issued.
June 17-18, 1999	The constituent assembly of the International Regional Federation of Accountants and Auditors "Eurasia" was held in Kiev.
July 16, 1999	The Law of Ukraine "On Accounting and Financial Reporting" was adopted.
November 11, 1999	The 4th UFPAA Council meeting was held. There were present 144 delegates of 25 UFPAA's territorial branches, representatives of the national authorities and the representative of the Accountants Association in Poland – its President E.Sablik. The member of the State Commission for Securities and Stock Market O.Boiko presented the UFPAA with a letter of appraisal for the progress in the state regulation of Ukrainian stock market.
1999	The UFPAA together with the State Commission for Securities and Stock Market developed the methodology of transformation of accounting reports into financial statements.
