The 7th UFPAA Council meeting was held. The main results of the meeting were approving of the UFPAA's strategic program for 2003-2004, accepting the amendment to the Statute and electing new members to the UFPAA's Council. |

As from this day, the journal "School of a Professional Accountant" was issued semimonthly. This journal is pitched for directors, managers, and financial specialists, representatives of authorities and institutes of higher education. It contains information about effective control strategies, international practice of financial accounting, changes in the law and other useful information. |

The UFPAA kept on celebrating the Day of Accountant, despite the fact that this holiday hasn't been officially recognized yet, the wide-ranging celebrations took place all over Ukraine. |

The UFPAA made a granting contract with the Fund of the USA's embassy democracy's assistance. This contract empowered to issue the journal "School of a Professional Accountant", to update the UFPAA's site and to conduct the international conference "From professional education to professional acknowledgment". At the cost of savings the "International Standards of Education" was issued. |

The UFPAA made a research work contract with the Center of European and Comparative Law of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, under which the UFPAA's members carried out the comparative complex analysis of the Ukrainian legislation. |
