January 1, 2006	IFAC confirmed that the UFPAA as of January 1st, 2006 was its associated member.
January 18, 2006	The President of the UFPAA S.Golov concluded the association memorandum between the UFPAA and ACCA.
January 25, 2006	The UFPAA certified the Ukrainian localization of the control system "Microsoft Navision", which has been worked out by the Microsoft Business Solutions' partner "Innovare".
February 7, 2006	The new edition of IFRS was presented by the UFPAA in the conference-room of the World Bank's office.
February 22, 2006	The UFPAA was accepted by the Edinburgh Group.
February 25, 2006	The 10th UFPAA Council meeting was held.
April 26, 2006	The UFPAA presented the addendum to the "IFRS-2005".
April, 2006	The UFPAA became the full member of the South-Eastern European Partnership on Accountancy Development (SEEPAD).
May 19, 2006	The International Conference «International trends in development of accounting and audit and prospects for Ukraine» dedicated to the 10th anniversary of UFPAA was held in Kiev National Economic University (KNEU).
May 23, 2006	The compendium "Accounting in Ukraine. Standards. Annotations" was issued. It has taken up the commentaries on the main normative and legal acts in March 2006 and oriented on the directors, managers, specialists of accounting financial, audit departments and tax authorities.
May 28-29, 2006	The forum of accountants and auditors was organized by the UFPAA in Koblevo.
June 18-19, 2006	The UFPAA together with the project UCAN, sponsored by the International Development Agency, led special training courses "Financial management in the Non-Profit NGOs" in Cherkassy.
September 5, 2006	The UFPAA presented the new two-volume edition of the "IFRS-2004".
September 11, 2006/STRONG>	The meeting, dedicated to the arriving of the technical manager on developing countries of IFAC N.Walles, has been held in the central office of the UFPAA. There were invited the representatives of the national authorities, the representative of the World Bank P.Korregan and the project "CIPA in Ukraine" director B.Pitts.
September 12, 2006	The round-table discussion "How the influential professional organizations of accountants can help the authorities to attract investment and ensure the economic stability" was led in the press-center of "LigaBusinessInform". There were present the representatives of the national authorities, the director of the project "CIPA in Ukraine" B.Pitts and the director of the International Development Agency's project "Development of capitals' markets" N.Walles.
September 28, 2006	The UFPAA presented the booklet "IFRS-2005" – the appendix to the Ukrainian translation of IFRS-2004 that includes new IFRS, ratified by IASB from April 1, 2004 to January 1, 2005.
October 28-29, 2006	The 5th regional SEEPAD seminar "The accountancy profession in Europe: exchange of experience from the professional bodies of EU member states" was held in Kiev.
October 30, 2006	The International Conference "Accounting Management and Business Competitiveness", dedicated to the UFPAA's 10th anniversary, was held in Kiev by the UFPAA together with the International Management Institute.
November 13-16, 2006	The UFPAA's representatives took part in the World Congress of Accountants "Providing of Economic Growth and Stability in the Whole World" that was held in Istanbul.
December 5, 2006	The book "IFRS.Questions.Tests.Exercises" was issued. It embraces all IFRS as of October 1, 2006 and without a doubt will help accountants to develop their skills in drawing up reports and their interpretation in compliance with the IFRS.
