"The IFRS summary for top managers, audit committees and committees of directors", which includes the overviews of IAS, IFRS and the consequences of their putting into business practice was presented by the UFPAA.

February 24, 2007

The 11th UFPAA Council meeting was held.

April 23, 2007

The UFPAA presented the handbook on applying IAS 32, 39 and IFRS 7 "Financial instruments: financial statements and accounting".

April 25-27, 2007

The UFPAA's members took part in the 30th Annual Congress of European Accounting Association in the capital of Portugal, Lisbon. Among 1,600 representatives of different organizations from 50 countries on behalf of Ukraine there were the UFPAA's members S.Golov and V.Kostjuchenko. During the Congress 7 symposiums, 205 synchronous meetings and 54 forums were held.

May 28-29, 2007

The UFPAA's representatives took part in the Congress, dedicated to the 100th Anniversary of the Accounting Association in Poland. The President of the UFPAA S.Golov congratulated the President of the Accounting Association in Poland with the momentous event and made presents to the UFPAA.

May 31 – June 1, 2007

The UFPAA together with the ACCA held the International Conference "Ethics of professional accountants: experience, reality, perspectives".

June 2-3, 2007

The meeting of the ECCAA's members was held in Kiev. There were present the representatives of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Moldova, Republic of Belarus, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Turkmenistan.

July 11-14, 2007

The frontier meeting of Rumanian, Hungarian, Ukrainian and Moldavian accountants and auditors was held in Rumania. The main questions were "Development of Account profession – conceptual progress" and "Achievements of the 8th Direction's implementation in the regions".
