The UFPAA, the Chamber of Auditors of Ukraine, the Union of Auditors of Ukraine with the assistance of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine organized and conducted the celebration of the Day of Accountant in Kiev by tradition on July, 16. There were invited accountants, auditors, scientists, representatives of the higher educational institutions, regulatory authorities and mass media.


The Honoured Artist of Ukraine V.Donchenko-Butkovskaja opened the festive ceremony. She congratulated those present with their professional holiday and called on the representative of the Secretariat of President of Ukraine.

V.Matvejchuk the Head of the Main department of social development of the Secretariat of President of Ukraine congratulated everybody and read out the Letter of congratulation from the President of Ukraine V.Yushchenko.

The Deputy Minister of Finance, the Head of the Methodological Council of Accountancy of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine T.Efimenko made a congratulatory speech.

The Letters of congratulation from the Prime Minister of Ukraine V.Janukovich and the First Vice-Prime Minister of Finance of Ukraine N.Azarov were read out.

T.Efimenko presented the best representatives of accounting profession with the Letters of appraisal from the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine.

The chief accountant of the National Bank of Ukraine V.Rachkivska cogratulated all those present on the Day of Accountant and read out the letter of congratulation from the Head of the Board of the National Bank of Ukraine V.Stelmah.

The member of The State Commission for Securities and Stock Market I.Nesterenko congratulated those present and presented the UFPAA with the Letter of commendation for the progress in realization of the common state policy on Stock Market development in Ukraine. The UFPAA's members G.Sochinskaja and N.Antonjuk obtained the Letters of commendation for their direct contribution in development of the Ukrainian Stock Market.

The best representatives of account profession obtained the Letters of commendation from the Chamber of Auditors of Ukraine, the Union of Auditors of Ukraine and the UFPAA.

The President of the UFPAA S.Golov congratulated accountants with their professional holiday, wished success in their professional development and presented some of the UFPAA members with the Letters of commendation.

Alef-Vinal Ltd, whose trade mark is “Golden amphora”, plied all those present with made-in drinks.

All those present watched a wonderful concert with pleasure. There were the artists of the operetta theatre and the variety actors.
